Shut Downs & Turnarounds

CE&I strives to minimize downtime for the customer. We have conducted turnarounds as short or as long as your process requires. We will do as much pre-work as possible to limit actual downtime from an electrical, communications, instrumentation, and controls standpoint. We work closely with the mechanical contractor to plan and coordinate the turnaround activities so that we are complimenting, rather than stumbling over or waiting for each other. CE&I has considerable experience in working inside live units doing as much pre-build as possible. It is not uncommon to have conduit systems, cable tray systems, communication networks and instrumentation backbones completely pre-built and ready for final placement prior to the turnaround.

In an emergency turnaround situation, CE&I will do whatever is necessary to get the plant up and running in the least amount of time while complying with all safety standards.
